It's time for the annual Advent Giving Tree!

'Tis the season to help our brothers and sisters in need!  Join the St. Teresa of Avila parish community as we help local organizations this Advent.  This year you can participate in several ways.

  • Choose a tag from the Giving Tree, located near the altar.  Then return the wrapped gift to the same place.

  • Check the bulletin or the church boards to see the list of needed gift cards and drop one in the collection basket.

  • Pray for all those experiencing hardship this year.

 Advent Reflection Opportunity

Fr. David Cregan, OSA will be with us on the second weekend of Advent, December 3 and 4.  Father Cregan will speak at the Masses and offer an evening of Reflection in the Church on Monday, December 5.  Please join us!

What on Earth is Happening?

The instability of the times we are living in is effecting everything and everyone.  Consequently, prayer and the inner life are becoming more and more important, and we as people of prayer have a particularly vital role to play in times like this.  Moving into Advent invites us all to slow down and focus on God within.  Our evening together on Monday, December 5 from 6:45-8:00pm will be a mini Advent retreat that will include inspiration for the season, guidance on how to deepen our prayer lives, and conversation on how our faith can be put into action in very practical ways.

Fr. David Cregan, OSA has been an Augustinian for 31 years.  His experience in religious life has been inspired by St. Augustine's imperative that self-knowledge is the narrow gate we enter to find the truth of God, and our own personal vocation.

Fr. David's ministry has been at Villanova University since 2004.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be on Tuesdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the Church.

If a funeral is scheduled we will begin at 11:00 AM.

Please be aware that there has been a recent increase in scams targeting parishioners.  The Pastor and the Parish Office will never send a text or email asking for help, gift cards or money.  Please do not reply to them.

All parish employees and volunteers must complete Archdiocesan safe environment requirements.
